Nathan Manlove, LICSW
... is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the practice’s CFO. He is licensed in both New Hampshire and Vermont and has over 18 years of experience working with older adolescents and adults in residential, university, and outpatient settings.
Nate received his Bachelor's degree from North Park University in Chicago, IL and his Master's degree from the University of Connecticut. He has extensive experience working with clients who suffer from difficulty managing anger, anxiety, depression, loss, relationship problems, effects of childhood abuse, and difficulty adjusting to challenging life circumstances. In addition to individual therapy, he particularly enjoys facilitating groups for anger management and mood disorders. While comfortable utilizing a variety of theoretical approaches to therapy, he utilizes a highly collaborative approach with clients. Because each person comes with unique needs and goals for therapy, his approach is attuned to what individuals want from the process which is referred to as "client-directed, outcome-informed" therapy. This means that during the healing process, careful attention is given to how well therapy is going for clients. This allows Nate to be accountable to clients so they can easily recognize if they are achieving the healing and growth that they are seeking.
When not at work, Nate enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family, reading, running, snow skiing, and waterskiing.
